The 2025 Southeast Asian Games, also known as the 33rd SEA Games and officially titled SEAGAMES Thailand 2025, is a multi-sport international event sanctioned by the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF). The Games are scheduled to take place from 9 to 20 December 2025, with Bangkok and its metropolitan area, Chonburi Province, and Songkhla Province serving as the main host cities. Other cities in Thailand will also participate in hosting, particularly for football events.
The joint bid by the three cities was selected on 13 January 2023, following the confirmation by the SEAGF that Thailand would host the 2025 edition of the Games. This marks the first time that the selection of host cities for the SEA Games was carried out through a formal bidding and voting process.
Thailand will be hosting the SEA Games for the seventh time, having previously done so in 1959, 1967, 1975, 1985, 1995, and 2007.
